Who we are

We are a boutique advisory firm specialising in M&A, corporate and business strategy, and fundraising. We advise the most ambitious technology companies, founders and owners of successful SMEs across the CEE region. We focus on impact, not volume. The work we do shapes our clients' future.

At Tack Room we work fast and smart, and we like using new tools, AI included. Today's world raises the bar: one person can handle more, and is expected to act independently and own the outcome. That is why we are looking for someone with a clear overview, initiative and the drive to run projects from start to finish.

What you will do

From day one you will be a key member of our lean, senior team and work on real transactions. You will:

  • Run projects and communicate with clients from first contact to completion

  • Work with financial data (collection, cleaning and reporting)

  • Prepare decision papers and research on companies, markets and opportunities

  • Use AI tools intelligently

  • Handle tasks large and small on your own

Who we are looking for

  • You take responsibility seriously: for the outcome, not just the task. You are meticulous, reliable and you see things through.

  • You are independent. You find things out and get them done without hand-holding, and you know when it is worth asking for advice.

  • You keep the overview and think a step ahead. You know what is needed before anyone asks.

  • Excel is an everyday working tool for you.

  • You speak and write fluent Czech or Slovak.

  • Your English is at C level, spoken and written, and you use it comfortably in everyday communication.

  • You enjoy learning and look for ways to grow professionally.

  • You treat AI as a normal part of work and actively think about how to use it to make your own work and the team's more efficient.

  • You are comfortable with a varied agenda.

  • Ideally you already have some experience (about 3-5 years) and are looking for a place where you will develop quickly.

  • You are comfortable communicating with clients and partners, including by phone.
