(Junior) Analyst – M&A and Strategy

About Us

Tack Room Capital is a boutique advisory firm focused on M&A, corporate and business strategy, and fundraising. We partner with the most ambitious technology companies and founder-led businesses across the CEE region.
Our team combines decades of experience in top-tier investment funds, international transactions, and serial entrepreneurship. We prioritise quality over volume — the work we do directly shapes the future of our clients.

Your Role

From day one, you’ll join a senior, highly capable team and contribute to real transactions and strategic projects. Your work will include:

  • Creating transaction materials — teasers, information memoranda, and investor decks for leading investors and CEOs.

  • Financial modelling & valuations — building models and applying DCF, market, and transaction-based valuation methods.

  • Market & competitive research — delivering deep, structured research that informs key strategic decisions.

  • Supporting strategic and fundraising projects — helping companies prepare for growth rounds and long-term strategy.

  • Driving the deal process — assisting with due diligence, investor outreach, and negotiation support.

  • Shaping the firm — contributing to internal initiatives across operations, efficiency, and marketing. Everyone here plays a role in building Tack Room Capital.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a future standout advisor — someone with intellectual curiosity, ambition, and a strong sense of ownership.

You are likely:

  • A final-year university student (4th/5th year) or a recent graduate in finance, economics, or a technical discipline.

  • Experienced: You’ve completed at least one internship in M&A, consulting (e.g., Big Four), investment banking, or VC/PE.

  • Technically strong: You master Excel and PowerPoint and can turn complex data into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Analytically driven: Numbers are your language. You recognise patterns, understand key valuation concepts, and enjoy solving complex problems.

  • Proactive and accountable: You think ahead, take responsibility, and deliver work you’re proud of.

  • Detail-oriented: You understand that precision defines great advisory work.

  • Fully proficient in English and Czech/Slovak, both spoken and written.

What We Offer

  • A steep learning curve: You’ll learn more in six months with us than in two years in a large organisation.

  • Direct access to partners: No hierarchy, no bureaucracy — just real mentorship.

  • Meaningful impact: You’ll see firsthand how companies grow, get funded, and change ownership.

  • Flexibility:

    • Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) for students

    • Full-time for graduates

  • Performance-based compensation: Even at junior level, your contribution is recognised and rewarded.
